Why Contribute Technology Articles to Us?
There are many benefits to contributing a technology guest post to iTechGuide. These include:
- Gaining exposure to a tech-savvy global audience
- Building your reputation and credibility in the technology field
- Driving traffic to your blog, portfolio, or company website
- Establishing backlinks to authoritative content
- Becoming part of a growing content network focused on high-quality, practical tech writing
We are especially excited to work with guest writers who are regular readers of our site and are already familiar with the kind of content we publish.
Technology Topics We Cover
We publish articles across a wide spectrum of technology fields. Here’s a partial list of the topics you can write for us:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning
- Cybersecurity and data privacy
- Web hosting and server infrastructure
- Voice over IP (VoIP) systems
- Operating systems and open-source software
- Programming tutorials or best practices
- Mobile app development and UX trends
- Networking, DevOps, and IT automation
- Reviews of tools, platforms, and services used by developers and IT pros
If your topic doesn’t appear here but is clearly relevant to modern tech users or professionals, we still want to hear from you and offer opportunities to write for us.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for genuine insights and valuable content — not promotional fluff or AI-generated filler. Here’s what we expect from contributors who write for us:
Original Technology Content
Your article must be written by you and not published elsewhere. We run all submissions through plagiarism detection and do not accept spun or recycled content.
Exclusive Publishing
We require exclusive rights to publish your article. That means you cannot repost it on your own blog, Medium, LinkedIn, or other platforms. You can, however, link to it and include it in your portfolio.
Word Count and Uniqueness
Your submission should be a minimum of 850 words. Longer articles (1,000 to 5,000 words) are strongly preferred and perform better with our readers and search engines. All content you write for us must pass Copyscape with at least a 95 percent uniqueness score.
Writing Quality
Write in clear, natural English. Use proper sentence structure, consistent tone, and correct grammar. Avoid filler, repetition, and overly technical jargon unless your audience demands it. Articles with poor grammar or obvious AI origin will be rejected.
Link Limits
You may include up to two outbound links to high-quality, relevant content in content that you write for us. These can point to your personal site, a portfolio, or a company blog — as long as the link is useful and contextually appropriate. Spammy or affiliate links are not allowed.
Formatting and Structure
When you write for us, use subheadings (H2 and H3), short paragraphs, bullet points, and bold text for clarity. This helps readers navigate the page and improves engagement. Screenshots, charts, or diagrams are welcome if you have original graphics to include.
Bonus Points
We give extra consideration to guest writers who:
- Have been published on other reputable tech blogs
- Are regular readers of iTechGuide
- Can demonstrate industry experience or niche technical knowledge
If you’ve blogged before or contributed to other publications, mention this when you submit your pitch.
Submission Guidelines
Here is a quick checklist before you submit:
- Article length: 850 to 1,500+ words
- File formats accepted: PDF, DOC, DOCX, or TXT
- Maximum file size: 2MB
- Language: clear, grammatically correct English
- Links: maximum of 2 outbound links per post
- Author bio (optional): feel free to include a short bio and one author photo
You’re welcome to pitch a topic first or send a finished draft. Either way, we’ll review your submission and respond within 2 to 3 business days.
